  • A Theatre is Born
    A Theatre is Born
    Passage artists take to the streets to announce the new theater, "Celebrating the New American Play". This shot was taken one block north of the Mill Hill Playhouse.
  • The Undoing
    The Undoing
    Passage's first play was a "keeper". Bill Mastrosimone kicked off his long relationship with Passage; directed by Veronica Brady, with Mary Martello playing Lorr and an unknown actor as Berk.

    Bill Mastrosimone has premiered many of his plays at Passage. This is 2003's Afghan Women, directed by Jonathan Bernstein.
  • The Stonecarver
    The Stonecarver
    Dan Lauria graced Passage's stage in the 2007 revival of Bill Mastrosimone's classic drama, directed by Julie Boyd. The production went on to an off-Broadway run.
  • Blinding Light

    A couple reenact 50 years of marriage in a 7 minute tour-de-force; a scene from the 2000 world premiere of Bill Mastrosimone's Blinding Light, directed by Julie Boyd.

    1992's world premiere by Jim McGrath, directed by Stephen Stout, was performed in an abandoned factory building in the Roebling Complex.

    2004's world premiere Gospel Musical starring Queen Esther Morrow, directed by Mercedes Ellington.

    2010's world premiere by Princeton playwright James J. Christy, directed by resident director Adam Immerwahr.

    2006's one woman show starring Elizabeth Van Dyke as Lorraine Hansbury.

    Tony-award winner Chuck Cooper starred in 2002's revival of Philip Hayes Dean's play about Paul Robeson along with Cary Gant, directed by Jeffrey V. Thompson.

    Yusef Komunyakaa's first play, The Deacons, received a workshop production featuring Tony award winner Chuck Cooper and Peter J. Fernandez.

    2009's world premiere production, written by Caridad Svich, directed by Daniella Topol, and featuring Bryan Close, Frank Harts, Kate Hopkins, Polly Lee, Gerardo Rodriguez, and Heidi Schreck.

    An original musical by Weeden, Finkel, and Fay, it received it's world premiere on Passage's stage in 1998 and was revived in this production in 2005.

    This second production of Mat Smart's drama was the critically acclaimed hit of the 2010 season, starring Jamal Mallory-McCree and Paul Notice, directed by Jade King Carroll.

    2008's World Premiere was written by Russell Davis, directed by Will Pomerantz, and featured (L to R) Robert Wu, Indika Senanayake, Nitya Vidyasagar, and Amy Kim Waschke. Creative use of puppets evoked the mindset of a child from whose viewpoint the play is told.
